Michigan Mini Horse May Be The Next Cadbury Bunny
The annual Cadbury Bunny tryouts are under way, and a Michigan mini horse is in the running to win the coveted position. Say hello to Blondi the possible Cadbury Bunny.
According to WXYZ, Blondi lives on a farm in East China, Michigan. Before we go any further, I have never heard of East China, have you? I Googled it, East China is a rural area along the St. Clair River. Back to Blondi now - she is 19 years old and lives with her handlers Laura Siecinski and her mom, Angela Sicinski.
If Blondi wins she will be featured in the classic Cadbury Bunny Easter commerical, and score a cash prize of $5000 dollars. How awesome is that?
The winner is determined by voting, and as of March 17th - voting is closed. The ballots are being counted and the new Cadbury Bunny 2021 will be announced this Monday, March 23rd. You can check the Cadbury website for the results.
Blondi is one of ten finalists. Her competition includes a frog, a donkey, an alpaca (looks like a llama), a goat, a cat, an actual bunny and some dogs. You can check out all of the contestants here. They are all very cute and sweet, but I think Blondi is the clear winner. You can see what a star she is in the video above. Blondi loves people, she loves dressing up and she loves wearing bunny ears. She certainly fits the part.
I will be watching anxiously for the results on Monday - good luck Blondi.
