America’s Most Affordable Restaurant is Right Here in Genesee County

It’s no secret that dining out is more expensive than ever. But if you’re looking for a sit-down meal that won’t destroy your wallet, you might be surprised to learn that one of America’s most affordable restaurants is right here in Genesee County.

Fast food prices have gotten out of control to the point where a drive-thru combo meal can cost just as much or even more than sitting down at a restaurant. Sounds crazy, but it’s true.

Places like Chili’s and Applebee’s aren’t nearly as pricey as people think, especially when fast food joints are charging close to $10 for a basic burger and fries. At that point, why not sit down and get something better for the same price?

America’s Most Affordable Restaurant

Finance Buzz recently put together a list of the most affordable restaurant chains in America, and honestly, we were a little surprised to see Chili's Grill & Bar take the top spot.

The Chili’s 3 For Me promotion lets you order an appetizer, an entree, and a fountain drink for $10.99. Appetizers include soup, salad, or chips and salsa, and entrees (which come with French fries) include burgers, chicken sandwiches, or chicken strips.

Other restaurants that made the list include Panda Express (#2), Applebee's (#3), Pizza Hut (#4), and Denny's (#5).

While there are only 22 Chili's Grill & Bar locations left in Michigan, we still have one right here in Genesee County on Miller Road in Flint.

Regardless of how you feel about Chili’s Grill & Bar, whether it’s the service, the food, or the atmosphere, you can’t deny it’s affordable, at least compared to other restaurant chains.
