Michigan Offers Free Fishing, ORV Riding, And State Park Entry This Weekend

This weekend the Michigan Department of Natural Resources is hooking up Michiganders with the opportunity to fish, do some off-road riding, and admission to all state parks for free. Yes, all three for free!

According to ABC12, "Three Free" weekend is coming up this Saturday and Sunday, June 9th and 10th. All fishing license fees, ORV license fees, trail permit fees and Recreation Passport fees for the weekend will be waived. Keep in mind, fees are waived for this weekend only and some of the activities inside the parks still have some fees.

This is great if you want to get out and try some new things and visit different parks and not have to worry about dropping a bunch of money. I wish I knew this was happening sooner so I could make some plans with my family and friends. I'd love to go around Michigan checking out new parks that I've never been to.
