Michigan Teen Dies At Track Meet After 400-Meter Dash [VIDEO]

Tuesday morning, a seventh grade student died after running an event in a track meet. The 13-year-old, Jasmin Torres, was competing at Hudson Middle School in Ida Township. Problems started after the 400-meter dash.

After the race, Torres was not feeling well and was sent to the athletic trainer and school doctor. Paramedics were then called to take here to a local hospital. Torres died in the hospital later that day.

Details on the cause of her death have not been released.
