This Michigan Woman Has Been on the Run Since 2018
Whenever the FBI updates its Ten Most Wanted list, it always sparks the same question for people here in Michigan. Is anyone from our state on it?
The short answer right now is no. There are currently no fugitives from Michigan on the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted list. However, that doesn’t mean Michigan doesn’t have someone on a major federal wanted list.
A Michigan Woman Is on the U.S. Marshals Most Wanted List
A Michigan woman, Tamera Renee Williams, is currently on the U.S. Marshals 15 Most Wanted list. She's wanted for first-degree murder.

Williams disappeared back in 2018 after investigators say she shot her boyfriend, David Carter, inside their home in Melvindale, Michigan. Authorities say she then dismembered his body. Brutal.
Investigators believe Carter’s remains were later dumped along Interstate 75 near Hancock, Ohio, where they were eventually found.
Not long after that, Williams vanished.
$25,000 Reward Offered for Information on Tamera Williams
A $25,000 reward is currently being offered for information that leads to her arrest. Williams also turns 47 this week (March 18), which is pretty remarkable when you think about how long she’s managed to stay on the run.
Williams is a trained phlebotomist, and investigators say she may have worked in medical clinics in the past.
U.S. Marshals Still Searching for Michigan Woman on Most Wanted List
The U.S. Marshals say Williams could still be alive, possibly living somewhere under a completely different identity. There’s really no reason for investigators to believe she’s dead.
It’s hard to believe someone could disappear for this long in today’s world, but that’s exactly what appears to have happened here.
How to Report a Tip to the U.S. Marshals
If you happen to know anything about Williams or where she might be, the U.S. Marshals Service is asking you to contact them. Tips can be submitted to the U.S. Marshals tip line at 1-877-WANTED2 (1-877-926-8332), and officials say information can be provided anonymously.
Someone out there knows something. The question is whether they’ll ever come forward.
