Michigan Woman’s Teenage Bedroom Is A 1980s Time Capsule
A Michigan woman recently discovered that her sister's teenage bedroom is exactly as she left it, 35 years ago.
Nicole Chalawich of Michigan shared the video of her sister's room after seeing it for the first time. The sisters did not know each other existed until roughly one year ago. Through DNA the pair discovered that they share a father.
According to Newsweek, the sisters grew up 5 miles apart and attended the same church. The pair discovered they share a father through DNA.
The room had been closed off due to deaths in the family, and when the homeowner, an uncle died, the house went to the unidentified sister. She eventually discovered her room had been untouched.
I can't believe she didn't take the Bon Jovi posters when she left, but whatever.
The video below will bring back memories to anyone who grew up in the 80s, particularly teenage girls.
The nostalgic bedroom also features posters of the following bands,
- Def Leppard
- Motley Crue
- Whitesnake
But wait there is more, you will also see posters of Johnny Depp, Guns N' Roses, Mike Tramp of White Lion, and more.
Now, that is a blast from the past. Too cool!
Does the video bring back memories of your teenage bedroom? It certainly does for me.
I had posters everywhere. I was so obsessed with the placement of the pictures that when my parents decided to move, I drew a diagram so I could hang them up in the same order in the new house.
Some of the posters hang in my house, the only difference is I paid to have them set and framed.
