Miss Kansas Is First to Show Tattoos At Miss America Pageant [VIDEO]

Miss Kansas Sgt. Theresa Vail is the first contestant in Miss America Pageant history to show tattoos during the swimsuit competition. Vail showed off her ink
Tuesday during the preliminary swimsuit round of the Miss America competition. Miss Kansas has a tattoo of the Serenity Prayer and the insignia of the US Army Dental Corps. Vail is also the second military member to compete for the crown.

Other than tattoos, Miss Kansas also enjoys hunting, skydiving and boxing. She also taught herself to sing opera in 48 hours. Is there anything she can't do? Did she tattoo herself? The Miss America Pageant airs tomorrow night (9/15) at 8:00pm.
