Two Genesee County teenage girls have been reported missing.

Malissa Odegaard and Abigail Locklear, both 13 years old, were last seen on Wednesday evening, December 17, 2025, in the Flushing and Mt. Morris areas.

A social media post from Malissa’s mom indicates that missing persons reports have been filed. According to community alert posts on local Facebook groups, families are urging anyone with information to contact Officer Lujan at the Mt. Morris Township Police Department, (810) 785-1311 or 911.

Photos of the girls continue to circulate on Facebook, not only within Genesee County but also on pages from Lansing, Holly, Bay City, and communities beyond, as families and community members work to spread awareness.

Even the smallest piece of information could play a vital role in locating these girls. If you think you may have seen something, heard something, or know anything at all, no detail is too small. Please come forward and share what you know. Your information could make a real difference in helping bring them home safely.”
