Mobile Grocery Market Aims To Give Healthy Food Options In Flint

In the never ending battle to improve things in Flint, a group has formed to bring a healthy food option directly to residents. Although a permanent route is still being built, this group will aim to deliver foods to neighborhoods, churches, and senior centers. 

Those who have stepped up to be apart of this group so far include the Community Foundation of Greater Flint, Flint Food Works, The Local Grocer, the Neighborhood Engagement Hub, and YMCA of Greater Flint. A 14-passenger bus will be used to step up food carts with a number of healthy food options including produce and ready-to-eat options.
