For college basketball fans it doesn't get any better than this.

In state rivals, seventh-ranked Michigan takes on ninth-ranked Michigan State in East Lansing on Saturday and the winner will at least have at least a share of the Big Ten regular-season championship. Both teams head into the matchup with a 15-4 record. The Purdue Boilermakers also have the same record and will be playing Northwestern earlier in the day, so depending on the outcome of that game the Spartans and Wolverines will be playing for more than bragging rights.

The Spartans took down the Wolverines last month in Ann Arbor and are looking to sweep the season series and add another Big Ten Title banner. Both teams have some injuries to some key players. Both teams will leave it all on the court for this one and it should be a must watch for hoop fans.

Other than the Duke and North Carolina rivalry game its hard to find another intense matchup. The football game between Michigan and Michigan State is one thing. But none of those games had so much riding on the line as tomorrows game does. Tip-off is at 8 pm and will be on ESPN.
