The Mount Pleasant Sacred Heart Academy Irish edged out Fulton-Middleton to clench the Michigan Regional Class D title last night (3/12) on the strength of an incredible buzzer beater from three-point land off of a botched inbound pass... and it was all caught on video!

The Sacred Heart Irish were down 46-47 (or tied at 47, there are conflicting reports of which) with 0.8 seconds left on the clock and were set to inbound the ball. Brooks Hyble's pass went a little bit off the intended mark (near the hoop) and took a hard bounce off the glass toward the three-point line. Dustin Neyer, off balance and reacting to the ball's quick change of course, was able to catch it a bit below his waist while jumping and threw it at the hoop from about 25 feet. Boom! The miraculous shot dropped giving the Irish their first title since 2007.
