The very popular Netflix show 'Love Is Blind' is looking to cast an upcoming season that could possibly feature Detroit, Michigan residents. To be clear, the casting call flyer reads 'Detroit'. I can't stop you from applying if you live in Fenton, but the premise of the show is to connect 15 men and 15 women from the same metropolitan area.

For 10 days, the men and women date each other in purpose-built "pods" where they can talk to each other through a speaker but not see each other. Hence the show's name 'Love Is Blind'. After ten days,

Should you wish to try out for the show, you must complete a questionnaire and upload a 15-second video of yourself. According to WXYZ, all contestants must be 21 years of age and up.

Before you get too excited, after ten days - couples wanting to see each other face to face must get engaged before doing so. This is a reality show after all and contestants may just be in it for the money, $1000 a day.

I have seen the show, and just watching it makes me claustrophobic AF. If you have never watched 'Love Is Blind', check out a video clip below. If you don't think people actually do get married - think again. The show is hosted by real-life husband and wife Nick and Vanessa Lachey.

If you do submit an application and do indeed get a callback, from the show - please let me know. Here is to hoping you find love in a pod in 2023.
