A brand new sandwich spot just opened up in the Lin Cor Plaza called the Flint Sandwich Works, adding another option for the local sandwich lover.

Flint Sandwich Works owner and food industry vet Teddy Keefe made a decision to follow his dream of owning a business in the field he is most passionate about and that is food. Thus, Flint Sandwich Works was born.

Keefe's menu features extras you won't find at every sandwich joint, such as multiple different sauce choices and different flavored crusts like chili and spicy butter crust. Flint Sandwich Works also features homemade soups, and they make the sandwiches fresh, right in front of you.

The inside has an old school feel and vibe, and you can usually make it out of there with a full sandwich for under $10. They also have hot dogs on the menu, which might spark up the ridiculous old debate about whether a hot dog is a sandwich -- it's not and we're not having this argument again so stop it.

Flint's not exactly a well-known foodie destination, but with sandwich shops like this and, of course, Big John -- we definitely might be onto something. Now that FSW shares a plaza with Sagano, Tropical Smoothie Cafe, and is right around the way from Freakin' Unbelievable Burgers -- that corner might just be the new Flint foodie destination.
