‘Nite Lights’ at MIS Features Five Miles Worth of Lights
If you are a fan of checking out Christmas light displays throughout the state, be sure to add Michigan International Speedway to the list.
Starting on Thanksgiving, you can take the family and friends out to Michigan International Speedway to see over five miles of Christmas lights. The exhibit will run all the way through December 31st. This year the theme of the light show is "12 Days of Christmas."
The easiest way to enjoy the light show is from the warmth of your own car. Visitors will be able to drive the five-mile route which includes seven different tunnels that are all lit up. If you are wanting to drive and check it out, the display will be open Sunday through Thursday from 5:30 pm until 9 pm. Patrons will be charged $25 per car with all veterans and active-duty military admitted for free.
Runners and walkers are able to get a sneak peek at the light show with a 5K Fun Run and Walk on Saturday, November 23rd. The Winter Wonderland display will be available from 6 pm until 9 pm on Fridays through Sundays. For more information on Nite Lites at MIS, click here.
