Now Open – Michigan’s First Raising Cane’s Restaurant
Calling all Michigan foodies, the first-ever Raising Cane's fast food restaurant is now open in the Great Lakes State.
Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers first opened its doors in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1996. The spot is also known as Cane's and Raising Canes now has over 500 locations throughout the United States.
The new Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers is located at 301 E. Grand River Avenue in East Lansing. Hours for the new hot spot are as follows,
- Monday: 10:00 AM to midnight
- Tuesday: 10:00 AM to midnight
- Wednesday: 10:00 AM to midnight
- Thursday: 10:00 AM to midnight
- Friday: 10:00 AM to 2:00 AM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM to 2:00 AM
Perfect hours for anyone heading to a Michigan State University football game, or any other reason you may be in the East Lansing area. From Flint, it will take you roughly 50 minutes to drive there and it will be a little over an hour's drive from the Lapeer area.
The menu at Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers includes quite a few combo meals and tailgate-sized meals too. Nothing goes with football quite like chicken fingers and beer. However, you will have to provide your own beer.
Check out the video below of customers lining up early this morning prior to the grand opening. I have waited in line for concert tickets, but never for a restaurant grand opening - this is a definite dedication to chicken fingers.
Let me know if you have ever been to Raising Cane's before. From the reviews I have read, people love it. It appears there may be a road trip in my future.
