YOU SHUT YOUR MOUTH MOTHER NATURE.

Okay, so this really isn't that surprising, but parts of Northern Michigan could see their first snowflakes of the season this coming weekend.

The National Weather Service is reporting that areas to our north could see a measurable snowfall by the end of the week, into the weekend. Last year, the same area saw their first snow around mid-October. So, to be fair, this isn't out of the ordinary.

If you're feeling a bit cheated this year, don't worry - we all are. It rained for a good portion of April, May and June. It didn't warm up to summer-like temps until the end of June and then it ended abruptly in late August. We did see a slight warm-up in September but nothing substantial.

So yes, Mother Nature. Michigan is ticked off.
