Recall Issued For Pasta Sauce Sold At ALDI Stores
If you planned on making the family any kind of pasta dish this week, be sure to check your bottle of sauce.
There has been a recall issued for certain bottles of pasta sauce sold inside ALDI's stores. The recall is based on a possible undeclared allergy in the product. Priano Rosso Pesto Sauce may contain milk and egg even though it may not be listed. Priano Rosso Pesto Sauce is a product of BLM Prod.-u. Vertriebsges. mbH & Co. KG.
The FDA issued the recall yesterday (Thursday May 17th) so if you have any sort of mild or egg allergy, you may not want to eat that particular sauce. The sauce itself was sold in ALDI's stores across the state of Michigan. The sauce in question is packaged in a 6.70 oz. glass jar with the UPC code is 041498147631. If you bought any of this sauce, you can take it back to ALDI's for a full refund.
