One, two, Freddy's coming for you. And he's coming to Michigan this fall.

Actor Robert Englund, who's best known for playing the terrifying, glove-wearing slasher who hunts and kills teens in their sleep in the Nightmare on Elm Street series, will be coming to Michigan for a couple of events that horror fans are going to love.

Robert Englund's first appearance will be at this fall's Motor City Comic Con, taking place from Friday, November 8, through Sunday, November 10, at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi. Englund will be there all three days. The event will also feature appearances from Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Wayne Knight, George Takei, Ron Perlman, Priscilla Presley, and more. Tickets are available now.

Robert Englund will also be hosting a pre-movie introduction of A Nightmare on Elm Street on Saturday, November 9, at 8:00 p.m. at the Emagine Theatre in Novi. According to MLive, tickets for this event are sold separately from Motor City Comic Con, so you'll want to grab your $40 tickets soon.

Growing up, I loved A Nightmare on Elm Street, strangely enough, at a very young age. I remember going to see Freddy's Revenge in theaters by myself in 1985. At the time, I was only 11 years old, and I still can't believe my parents let me go see that movie alone. As you know, times were a little different back then.
