We are getting closer and closer to the start of the summer concert season at Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkston.

Every summer Michiganders travel from all over the state to see their favorite artists as they take the stage at the legendary venue.

One thing concertgoers love most about summers in Michigan are those awesome outdoor shows. There's nothing better than sitting on the hill or in the pavilion on a warm summer evening drinking a nice tall cold one while watching your favorite bands rock out on stage.

When Does the Summer Concert Season at Pine Knob Kick off?

The first concert of the summer at Pine Knob is a country show featuring Tim McGraw, Chris Janson, and Kassi Ashton on May 20.

For the most part, the summer concert season wraps up in September but last year shows were still happening in early October. It's a little risky having outdoor concerts that late in the year but we got lucky and Mother Nature cooperated with us.

Concerts are getting announced every week, so make sure you keep coming back as we'll continue to update the list.

New Concert Announcements 3/21/23:

The most recent announcements include Mudvayne with Coal Chamber, GWAR, Nonpoint, and Butcher Babies on August 6. Tickets go on sale this Friday, March 24 at 10 AM.

Also, The Offspring with Sum 41 and Simple Plan on August 23. Tickets go on sale March 24 at 10 AM.

There are tons of great shows coming to Pine Knob this summer, but for now, we're only going to focus here on the rock shows.
