9 Rock Concerts Coming to Pine Knob That You Must See

It's going to be another action-packed summer at Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkston, Michigan.

I'm still excited over the fact that we're back to calling it Pine Knob instead of DTE Energy Music Theatre. Even though most of us never stopped calling it Pine Knob in the first place. I think it just adds a little more excitement to this summer's list of concerts.

One thing Michiganders love most about summer is outdoor concerts. There's nothing better than sitting on the hill or in the pavilion on a warm summer evening drinking a nice tall cold one while watching your favorite rock bands perform. It's the absolute best.

Pine Knob doesn't have a lot to offer when it comes to rock concerts in June or July, but once August and September hit, we'll be swimming in killer shows. There's even one show that happens in October but we're still counting it as a summer show.

The first concert of the summer at Pine Knob is May 27th with AJR's "OK Orchestra Tour." I think I'll sit that one out and just wait for the big rock shows to roll in.

More shows will more than likely be announced in the coming weeks. This list was supposed to have 10 shows listed but there is a delay on one of them for some reason.

There are lots of concerts coming to Flint and Detroit this summer as well, but for now, let's just focus on the rock concerts that are coming to Pine Knob Music Theatre.
