Rock & Brews Royal Oak Announces Opening Date

An opening date has been announced for Rock & Brews in downtown Royal Oak.

Rock & Brews is a rock‑themed casual dining spot created by Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley from KISS, along with other business partners.

The first Rock & Brews opened in 2012 near Los Angeles, and now there are locations in several states, including Florida, Texas, Wisconsin, and Kansas.

According to WXYZ Detroit, the bar features three levels,

Level 1: Dining Area
Level 2: Bar & Concert Stage
Level 3: Roof Top Sky-Lounge

When is Rock & Brews opening in Royal Oak?

Rock & Brews will officially open its doors on Thursday, March 19th, 2026.

The venue will be packed with music memorabilia, with a big spotlight on Detroit’s music scene. You’ll see everything from vintage posters to photos and other cool pieces that celebrate the city’s rock and Motown history.

Where is Rock & Brews located in downtown Royal Oak?

You will find the new spot at 208 West Fifth Avenue, 48067.

If you are coming from the Flint area, expect about a one-hour drive to get there. For those traveling from Lapeer County, the trip will take roughly 40 minutes, depending on traffic.

What is on the menu at Rock & Brews?

Guests can enjoy a selection of appetizers, wing options, burgers, salad, pasta, steaks, fish, chicken sandwiches, nachos, and more.

Now for the question everyone is asking. Will Gene and Paul be making an appearance at the new Rock & Brews in Royal Oak?

There’s no word on that yet, but it would definitely be awesome if they did.
