Seacrest Out? Daly In? Enough With The Singing Competitions!

Get ready, another singing contest type television show is on the horizon.  Just what we need - NOT!

NBC wants an "American Idol" show of its own.  This new singing competition will be called "The Voice" hosted by MTV Total Request Live alumni Carson Daly. (Cricket....cricket....).

Four famous artists will mentor and coach teams of singers.  Contestants will be eliminated until each celebrity has just one singer left to compete.  The winner will be named "The Voice Of America".  Look out!

No "celebrity mentors" have been named yet.  Now if NBC got Zakk Wylde, Dave Mustaine, M. Shadows and Ivan Moody I would watch.  Chances of that line up are SLIM AND NONE!!!

I'm guessing Bret Michaels, Bobby Brown, Billy Ray Cyrus and Vanilla Ice.
