Michigan is home to some amazing and beautiful golf courses.

When the summertime rolls around, thousands of Michiganders dust off the clubs and hit the links. With well over 600 hundred courses in the state to choose from, the options are endless and you can find some truly amazing holes to play.

Pretty much every golfer out there has a few favorite courses and probably several favorite holes. When you are out there playing some holes just leave a lasting impression that you'll never forget. Whether it's a hole that you hit the best shot of your life on or a hole that you love to hate, they always stick with you.

After talking with some friends over the holiday weekend, we all shared some of our most memorable and/or the most iconic holes in the state. You'll see six of them below, but I know there are more beautiful and iconic holes that we can add to the list. Be sure to leave your favorites in the comments.

Below you'll find six holes that are either beautiful, fun to play, iconic, or challenging that are worth trying out.
