Macomb County is home to Michigan's newest Sheetz convenience store and gas station.

The third Michigan location opened its doors on Tuesday, September 23rd, 2025, at 29050 23 Mile Road in Chesterfield.

President and CEO Travis Sheetz said this new store is a big deal for the family-owned business.

We’re committed to southeast Michigan and the entire state for the long haul — building more locations, partnering with local organizations, and earning our place as the store communities can count on.

Sheetz plans to expand in southeast Michigan by opening up to 60 new locations over the next five to six years, according to the Detroit Free Press.

What makes Sheetz stores so special?

Customers value that Sheetz locations are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays.

Guests can enjoy the wide-ranging Sheetz menu, which offers fresh, made-to-order food tailored to your tastes. Choose from options like burgers, pizzas, breakfast sandwiches, burritos, salads, snacks, hot dogs, desserts, specialty coffees, and more.

As you will see in the video below, Sheetz has a big fan base.

Where are the other Sheetz locations in Michigan?

Two additional Michgian Sheetz locations are both in Romulus,

  • 29225 Smith Road, 48174
  • 33380 Wick Road, 48174

If you have never visited a Sheetz location, you can take a video tour of the first Romulus location below.

Fair warning: watching this might make you seriously hungry. You might be better off just hopping in your car and heading to Sheetz yourself.

Maybe I will see you there. Sheetz had me at burritos.
