For the third year in a row, Short's is once again serving a Michigan-influenced beer.

Even though I'm a summer guy and really don't love the winter, there are a few things I don't mind about the fall. Watching football, making chili, Halloween, and drinking beer are some of my favorites. And when it comes to beer, Michigan is one of the best places to be. With so many breweries, the options are endless and a lot of times seasonal.

That's why I was very happy to see the announcement from Short's Brewing Company that their Pure Michigan Autumn IPA is back. Over the last few years, I have stepped out of my comfort zone when it comes to trying new things. Now, I am a huge fan of trying different beers. I've come a long way from drinking Coors Light and only Coors Light.

Short's Pure Michigan Autumn IPA is now on my bucket list for a number of reasons. The first and most honest reason is simply because it's beer. Another reason is the fact that Short's is a  Michigan company through and through. Also, the Pure Michigan Autumn IPA is made entirely from ingredients grown right here on farms in the Mitten.

The Pure Michigan Autumn IPA is said to have balanced bop bitterness and malty, fruited sweetness. The beer itself is 5.6% ABV and is available now. If you want to try some, you'll be able to find it on the shelves at Meijer, Kroger, Busch's, D&W Fresh Market, VG's Food Center, and other places.
