Snowmobile Diver Killed In Michigan Race
Tragedy struck on Friday night during a snowmobile race in Mt. Pleasant. Billy-Joe Travis, a 30-year-old Hillman resident, lost control during the race and was hit by two other racers.
After losing control in a turn, Travis' snowmobile filled over. He was then hit by the other racers.
Authorities say Travis was wearing a helmet but wasn't breathing and had no pulse when medical officials examined him.
Around 12 snowmobiles were on the track at the time of the crash.
