Social Workers Charged in Connection to the Death of a Detroit 3-Year-Old [VIDEO]

The decomposed body of 3-year-old Aaron Minor was found in a Detroit apartment building back in May, and now two social workers are being charged with involuntary manslaughter among other crimes.

The charges against Elaina L. Brown, 24, and Kelly M. Williams, 47, both of Wayne County, also include second degree child abuse and willful neglect of duty. According to WDIV, Brown was referred to the case in April after being notified of neglect by the mental health worker of Deanna Minor, the child's mother. Reports state that both Brown and Williams failed to follow procedure, and their alleged inaction eventually contributed to the death of the child.
