Sports Betting Goes Live Wednesday at Michigan Casinos

If you are the type that likes to place bets on sports games with your friends, you are going to like this.

Starting tomorrow, legalized sports betting will become reality in Michigan casinos. Get ready to place your bets on the games at all three Detroit casinos and the tribal-owned casinos in Michigan.

Personally, I have only made bets on the games themselves. Twenty bucks here and there with friends. Now it looks like I'm going to have to do a little homework and see all the different ways I can bet as they will be adding more options in the future.

Starting Wednesday, you will be able to place bets and gamble on teams and the scores of the games. In the next phase, gamblers will be able to bet on specific athletes. If you are looking to place a bet, you will have to physically go to the participating casino to do so. Online betting won't be available until some time next year.
