Study Finds Swearing Not Good For Your Career [POLL]
I am not sure about your place of employment, but swearing here at the radio station is a common occurrence. As a matter of fact, my standard greeting to some of my co-workers is 'Hello Effers!'. If we had a 'swear jar', that bitch would be full!
That being said, a study by CareerBuilder.com, found that bad words leave a bad impression in the workplace. According to some of the employers surveyed, swearing could signal a lack of control or maturity. Another interesting find is the younger employees do not have the bad mouths, it is the 35-to 44-year age group who curse most.
