Details of DC’s digital streaming service are finally emerging from the swamp. Not only has the new network confirmed a “DC Universe” name with first looks at Titans, Harley Quinn and more, but a Swamp Thing series with Aquaman director James Wan has entered the pool.

DC confirmed a script-to-series order for the one-hour live-action series, which is likely to debut in 2019 after the DC Universe service launches later this year. Battlestar Galactica and It pair Mark Verheiden and Gary Dauberman will write the new series, with Wan executive producing. Check out the first synopsis:

When CDC researcher Abby Arcane returns to her childhood home of Houma, Louisiana, in order to investigate a deadly swamp-borne virus, she develops a surprising bond with scientist Alec Holland — only to have him tragically taken from her. But as powerful forces descend on Houma, intent on exploiting the swamp’s mysterious properties for their own purposes, Abby will discover that the swamp holds mystical secrets, both horrifying and wondrous — and the potential love of her life may not be dead after all.

But that’s not the only DC Universe news. According to TVLine, the service will delay and redevelop its Metropolis series, which was to follow Lex Luthor and Lois Lane’s investigation of city weirdness before Superman’s arrival. At the very least, we have new logo artwork for the live-action Titans, Season 3 of Young Justice: Outsiders, and the Harley Quinn cartoon:
