Sweetwater Bar In Grand Blanc Closes For Good
Fans of Sweetwater Bar were surprised over the weekend with news that the Grand Blanc bar is permanently closed.
Sweetwater Bar posted the following announcement on social media. The post has since been deleted.
It did not take long for Facebook users and some former employees to weigh in on the sudden closing. I read multiple posts where people called bull on the lack of employees.
The bottom line is people lost their jobs. I did see this post directed toward Sweetwater Bar's former employees looking for work,
As for the empty building at the corner of Dort Highway and Grand Blanc Road, what would you like to see open there now? Another bar and or restaurant? I know plenty of people that went there because it was close to home.
We all know there are plenty of places to grab a beer and a burger in the Genesee County area, but is there something that we are lacking in terms of food, drink, and entertainment? I don't think the location is bad, it would be very cool to see a new unique spot open there.
