Aaron Lewis rolled through The Machine Shop this week for a couple shows. I made it out on night number two and it was really good. Even though the majority of the show was country, his voice was amazing. Aaron Lewis did sprinkle in some Staind and cover songs as well.
Everyone knows Aaron Lewis as the frontman of post-grunge rockers Staind, but for the past few years, Lewis has devoted a lot of time to his country solo project. Lewis brings his solo act to the Machine Shop on June 5 and 6, and while the June 5 date is sold out, tickets for the second show are still available. Watch Lewis' video for 'Country Boy' below.
When conditions deteriorate at shows, sometimes it can be a bit of a free-for-all, and that’s what happened in Little Rock, Ark., this past Saturday (Aug. 18) at Edgefest VIII, when several fans took advantage of the rain-soaked ground from earlier in the day and started tossing mud clumps at the acts playing onstage.
Staind vocalist and resident ‘Country Boy’ Aaron Lewis will dial it back from 11 for ‘The Road,’ his down-home debut album which has just been announced for release this summer.
Staind have completed recording their as-yet-untitled new studio release. Johnny K (Pop Evil, Disturbed) produced the album that is due out later in the year.

This is one of my favorite bands, so I was very excited to see a new album on the way. 'Superfiction' is the title of the new Cold release, which is scheduled to come on June 28th.
