The recent story of a 3rd grader from Caro who brought cupcakes to school for his birthday with little green army men on them has caught the attention of the Michigan Senator from that area, and he doesn't seem to think the school made the right decision.

These news bloopers always make me feel so much better about my screw ups, mine are bad but these are even worse. I think we should start featuring the best Banana bloopers every month here on the Banana website. What do you think, wanna hear em'?

A Swedish news program accidentally aired a pornographic film for 10 minutes during a live broadcast. I cannot believe that no one noticed for that long. Or maybe someone did notice and thought, oh well - this makes for some hardcore news!

Seeing videos like this make me think I still have hope for my career.  Now we all know that I am in no way made for TV but I'm not so sure some of these reporters are either.  The great part is that all the "crazy" people jumping in shots are a shock to the reports.  To the Banana Crew it would just be another day at the office.

As I always say about a live broadcast, the best and worst part is that you never really know what's going to happen.  This video shows the worst part about that, as a local news broadcast falls apart live on TV.

Every once in awhile whether it be TV or radio, something is said that is so funny that you just can't stop laughing. That's exactly what happened in this video as this new anchor was trying to do a story on cockfighting and just can't keep it together when she says cock.

While winter hasn't truly hit us here in Michigan, it looks like other parts of the midwest are having some pretty interesting weather patterns. WGN9 in Chicago displayed a weather pattern every dude would like and it looks like St. Louis, Mo. and Cincinnati, Ohio are the best places to be right now. In 2011 we featured a ton of local news bloopers that were funny as hell. Here is a compilation video of the best news bloopers from last year. I still think my favorite one is the black woman trying to do a newscast at a music venue where it is extremely loud, her facial expressions are hilarious.

People that work on the news must HATE YouTube.  In 2011 I saw so many local news eff ups, they almost stopped being funny.  Almost, but not quite, because this boner prank is pretty hilarious.
