Next week is Severe Weather Awareness Week in Michigan (I didn't even know this was a thing) with a statewide tornado drill on Wednesday, April 11th at 1 pm.
Just the thought of being caught in a tornado gets my heart pounding, it just sounds so scary especially after listening to this woman's horrific experience.
Several buildings have been damaged and several people were trapped after a possible tornado touched down in Portland, Mich., according to Ionia County Sheriff -- see pictures of the damage here.
This is pretty intense. Growing up I lived in Mississippi for about four years and I learned one thing...Michigan tornadoes are not that bad! Although I have seen worse than this, this one is pretty damn bad. To clear up any confusion, cows don't fly through a tornado like they do in the movies. They hover a little bit then roll 300 feet across the field.
Mother nature was pretty cranky during the Rose Bowl. Check it out as this wind storm tears through the grounds taking out the tents and vendors that were set up. Fear not though, the Chick-Fil-A mascot stood his ground during the storm.
Even though these guys get some amazing footage of a tornado that is barreling down on them, their reaction is just ridiculous. It sounds like something you would hear out of a Seth Rogen movie. I don't understand why these clowns didn't just jump in their truck and drive off in the opposite direction.
This is about as up close and personal as you want to get to a tornado. This security camera's footage proves the raw power of a tornado and the devastation it creates as it tears through a playground.
First and foremost, this is not from the recent line of tornados that has been in the news! Watch as this news helicopter gets a little too close to a tornado. As it gets spun around in the wind, the pilot jumps from the cockpit. Real or fake? What do you think?
Over the weekend a brutal tornado ripped through Arkansas leaving nothing but pure devastation in it's path and many lives were lost. Here's an aerial view that was shot by drone flying overhead.
While conducting a prescribed burn of 150 acres at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge outside of Denver, Colorado, firefighter Thomas Rogers caught some killer footage of what they call a "dust devil" was drawn into the rapidly rising air from the fire. The footage your about to see is really cool.
