Talk About A Bad Decision

When Dallas police pulled over this guy named Mario Miramontes, 22, he feared that a past minor offense possibly could cost him some money or a few days in jail. Read on to see what this moron did next:

So, this guy claimed to police to be his 25-year old cousin, of course not knowing his cousin had a warrant out for fondling an underage relative (nasty). Meaning, instead of Miramontes serving only a few days in jail, the dude ended up spending 13 months in a Dallas Count Jail, appaerently without a lawyer or court hearing.

You mean to tell me, the system is so messed up that they couldn't figure out they had the wrong guy.
