Texas Bar Turns Into Moe’s Tavern From The Simpsons For Halloween [VIDEO]
This year's Halloween costume contest winner is... A bar in Texas.
Like many of us, Travis Tober, the owner of the Nickel City Bar in Austin, grew up watching the legendary Fox cartoon 'The Simpsons.' In fact, he loves the show so much that he decided to transform his bar into the iconic establishment Moe's Tavern.
The idea came from a random conversation about how the front of the bar looks like Moe's and really began to take shape after Tober took a good look at the fictional bar in an old episode of the long-running animated sitcom.
Not only did he make the front of the bar look exactly like Moe's, but the inside as well. Tober also added several canon food items from 'The Simpsons,' including the Krusty burger, Squishees, and, of course, The Flaming Moe.
No prank calls were made to the bar.
