Texas Man Fathers Child With Daughter And Restrains Them In Straight Jackets

Man, there are some messed up people in this world.  And 54 year old Edgar Whitt of Texas is amongst the worst of them.  He fathered a child with his 26 year old daughter and then kept the child locked up with a straight jacket.  More disturbing details inside.

Sometimes I think my family is crazy, but then you read about a family like the Whitts and I realize the Fantones aren't all that bad.  54 year old, Edgar Whitt was arrested for felony sexual charges, after police found out he was the father of his grandson.

This all came to light when police stopped a 7 year old riding his bike on a freeway at 1:30 in the morning.  When police asked the kid what he was doing, he told them he was running away, and the police took him home.  Which is when things started getting weird.

According to the police report, when they officers took the boy home, the Whitts were perplexed on how the child got out of the house because “the child had been restrained by using a ‘straight jacket’ and they didn’t know how he got out".

Police removed the boy and his two siblings and placed them in protective services.  Under further investigation, it was determined that not only was Edgar the boy's grandfather, but he was also his father.  Whitt had been having sex with his 26 year old daughter, Tamara, for years.

God, I hope this isn't happening in the trailer parks of Flint.
