Banana 101.5 Bad Golfers League Registration Begins Wednesday

Get ready golfers, the Banana Bad Golfers League is back!

The countdown is on! Ten weeks from today we will be back out on the greens of Swartz Creek Golf Course for the 2021 season of the Banana 101.5 Bad Golfers League. Mark your calendars for Wednesday, May 5th for the official start to the league.

Registration will open for everyone on Wednesday, March 24th at 10am! Be ready to sign your team up then so you don't miss out. The Bad Golfers League sells out fast every year and is the best and biggest league around. Don't be afraid if you are not the best golfer around, this is the league for you! Just be ready to have a blast on Wednesday nights.

The 2021 season will see the return of both the 3 pm tee time and the 5:30 pm tee time. Here is the overview for the league this year.

• Where: Swartz Creek Golf Course
• When: Wednesday nights starting on May 5th and running through August 11th, 2021. (15 weeks)
• Cost: $23/golfer each week (18 and over). Payment options are available below.
• Other details: The Bad Golfers League will play on all three nines on the course (front, back, and executive.) Tee off each Wednesday will be broken into two sessions. Be sure to pick the start time that works best for your team between 3 PM and 5:30 PM.
• Rules: The Bad Golfers League follows standard scramble play for all teams. Both teammates will take their shots off the tee box and pick the best ball that was hit to play from. The team will repeat that process the entire hole. It is also very important to note that each team has a stroke limit on each hole of double par.

Each week we like to keep it interesting with skins along with prizes for the longest drive and closest to the pin.

Each player in the Bad Golfers League can pick from the following payment options:

• Full season payment upfront, $322 total. Players who decide to pay for the league completely upfront will get:
  • No weekly fees (skins not included)
  • A Banana Bad Golfers League member card which includes:
    • Nine holes and cart for only $7 at Swartz Creek Golf Course or Kearsley Lake Golf Course for the length of the season, a huge value. (Unlimited rounds - Must call for a tee time - weekdays anytime - weekends afternoon.)
    • Price includes one drink each week.
  • TOTAL PRICE: $322
• Zero down payment upfront. Players that choose this option will pay as follows:
  • Weekly fees of $23/golfer (skins not included)
  • TOTAL PRICE: $345

As always, each week will include great food and drink specials such as jello shots, dollar beers, and more. The madness begins on Wednesday, May 5th! Also, according to The Old Farmer's Almanac, the summer will be warmer and rainier than normal...so we've got that going for us.
