The Burger Bar and Tap Under New Ownership, Opens January 2021

Calling all burger and beer lovers, and from the looks of it - vintage arcade game lovers too.

The Burger Bar and Tap, located at Hill and Fenton Roads (same plaza as Secretary of State), is under new ownership and will be opening next month, January 2021.

But wait, there's more - leading the charge in the kitchen is Head Chef Jody Brunori. This is fantastic news. Chef Jody is a James Beard nominee for best chef in the Midwest (see below). You many also know Chef Jody from her many years as head chef at The Laundry in Fenton.

To be completely honest, I have only been into The Burger Bar and Tap once, and that was only just to kill time while I waited for my number to come up at the Secretary of State. I will definitely be going more now.

If you check out The Burger Bar and Tap Facebook page, you will see that classic arcade games will be a new feature at the bar - yet another bonus. To date I have seen pictures of a Frogger game and Galaga game, just to name a few.

As for what else The Burger Bar and Tap will be offering, we will have to wait and see. From what I can tell already, this place is going to be awesome. I will keep you posted as to the exact opening date, and I look forward to eating, and drinking with you at The Burger Bar and Tap. Oh, and kicking your ass in Frogger too.
