‘The League’ Star is Bringing a Sports-Comedy Party to Flint’s Capitol Theater
A pair of comedians, one of whom you'll recognize from FX's 'The League,' are bringing the unique sports-focused comedy event 'Late Night Tailgate' to the Capitol Theater on October 19th.
Actor Steve Rannazzisi of 'The League' -- legit one of the funniest shows of the last decade -- and comedian Sarah Tiana are headed to Flint on the eve of the big Michigan-Michigan State game for an evening that's being described as late night comedy mixed with a tailgate party -- hence the name Late Night Tailgate. The show, directed by SNL co-head writer Bryan Tucker, will deliver a night that mixes sports comedy, games, and commentary from former NFL and NCAA athletes.
Attendees can even get in on the fun, as it is an interactive experience with games, trivia, prizes, and even questions about the big rivalry game. This is far from your average comedy show, and the event will have a very party-like atmosphere. Think of it as a sports trivia night at your local bar, but with a tailgate party... and a comedy show.
Late Night Tailgate hits the Capitol Theatre on Friday, October 19th and tickets start at just $20 (click here to buy tickets) and discounts are available for Genesee County residents. Late Night Tailgate sounds like the perfect way to get ready for the big game, check out the totally revamped Capitol Theatre, and have a great Friday night all in one shot.
