The Palace has Been Sold And Will Be Demolished in the Fall

Another iconic venue will meet its' demise later this year. The Palace of Auburn Hills has such a great history and it is sad to see it go.

I can't even begin to narrow down my favorite memory at The Palace of Auburn Hills. I've seen Pistons games and so many great shows. From Bob Seger, to Ozzy, to Slayer, and I was even dragged to a Christina Aguilera and Justin Timberlake show years and years ago. Even stage shows are in my memory from when I was a kid.

The memories will live on but the building will not. After being home to the Detroit Pistons for nearly 30 years, the building is now slated to be demolished this fall.

While most of my memories of the Palace are great ones, I'm sure there are a few that some people might want to erase. Let us not forget about one of the most iconic brawls in basketball history, "The Malice at the Palace."
