The Serenity House of Flint Provides Free Drive-Up Christmas Dinner
The Serenity House of Flint is doing their best to help Genesee County residents this holiday season.
If you know of a family in need or just need a little help yourself this year, The Serenity House of Flint is here to help. Coming up on this Friday, December 18th, they will be hosting a free community dinner for those in need. Guests can drive-up or walk-up and receive a free family dinner (baked pasta) at this event. This is a first-come, first-served event that will run from 6 pm until 7 pm.
For those looking for a little help, The Serenity House of Flint is located at 720 Ann Arbor Street in the Stockton Center parking lot. On Friday, each adult will get a bag of resources from organizations that provide assistance of all types to residents in Genesee County. One of the goals that The Serenity House of Flint wants to achieve is to relieve some of the holiday stress with a warm meal and support system for those who need it!
The Serenity House of Flint is a non-profit recovery community organization that advocates for people in addiction recovery and provides holistic options for the community. The Serenity House of Flint organizes recovery advocacy and educational events for the community and offers holistic recovery support services.
After a year like 2020, it is great to see the community and those in it looking out for each other and coming together for the holidays. More people are struggling this year than normal due to the effects of the pandemic so be sure to share this with those who may be in need.
