The Three Best Number Twenties in Detroit Lions History

The Detroit Lions have only sniffed a Super Bowl once since the Super Bowl has come into existence. But, they have had some Hall of Fame players come through Detroit and donned the Honolulu Blue and Silver.

Three of the greatest men ever to play for the Lions wore number twenty. Two of these men are in Canton, Ohio in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Like I said the Lions should have had a Trifecta with three number twenties going into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. They were all such specially gifted players and if Sims hadn’t sustained so many knee injuries he would have had a bust in Canton too.
