I've been looking for that perfect spot to take my fiancée' for her birthday this summer and the Seeblick Haus in Northport, Michigan is exactly that.
Seeblick Haus sits high up on a hill in Northport, Michigan overlooking beautiful orchards and Grand Traverse Bay. This place has an incredible view from nearly every one of its giant windows.

Seeblick Haus is a small vacation home for 4 people on a secluded, very private site in Northport. The open floor plan of the house is designed around the natural setting of the property and facilitates a 270-degree view of Grand Traverse Bay and the surrounding orchards. Large windows offer the experience to be close to nature through all seasons and the wrap-around porch extends the living space to the outdoors.

Seeblick Haus is $350 per night, which seems a little on the pricy side but not when you consider the privacy, all the amenities, and that killer view.
Northport is a village in Leelanau Township within Leelanau County. It's about 40 minutes north of Traverse City.
I was seriously considering renting this place this summer. However, I literally just noticed that it's not available for the entire summer. I'm so bummed, I really wanted to get into this place for a weekend. Oh well, I guess I'll just keep searching for that next perfect Michigan getaway spot.
