Maynard James Keenan On Grand Rapids Public Access TV 1987 [VIDEO]
We are going back in time here, I am talking BT - before Tool.
Although Maynard James Keenan was born in Ohio, he spent his high school and college years in Michigan. MJK was the singer in a band called Children of the Anachronistic Dynasty. The band performed on a public access TV channel (think Wayne's World) in Grand Rapids back in 1987, and lucky for us the footage has resurfaced.
I have no idea what the other members of C.A.D are doing now, but they must have some sweet stories about working with Maynard. Between Tool, A Perfect Circle, and Puscifer, is there anything the guy can't do? He even makes wine for Christ's sake. You can check out his line, Caduceus Wine here.
Enjoy all 26 minutes and 30 seconds of Children of the Anachronistic Dynasty in their glory. Who knows, maybe Maynard will get the band back together.
