Tomorrow Is ‘National Burrito Day’ – Who Serves The Best Burrito?
Yesterday I told you that tomorrow, Thursday, April 1st, is National Burrito Day. I put up a post about the day, and that Chipotle is giving away burritos and Bitcoin. I am definitely down with a Chipotle burrito, but I am curious as to your favorite place to go for a burrito. Where is your go to burrito spot?
If size matters to you, I do know that Sagebrush in Fenton serves what I call 'football size' burritos. Cancun serves a wide variety of burritos, including one of my favorites, the Burrito Preferido. You choose grilled steak or grilled chicken, with chorizo, shrimp, pineapple and cheese sauce on top. It's so good! Do not even get me started on Vehicle City Tacos, when they are serving burritos - it will be one of the best you have ever had. If you are short on time, Taco Bell has a good thing going with their 7-Layer Burrito.
When it comes to a burrito I am flexible with its filling - however if having your burrito wet is an option, take it. Who orders a dry burrito when you can have it served to you dripping in some type of sauce? I don't know what is in burrito gravy, but damn it is the bomb.
The Burrito California at El Potrero is another good choice. That bad boy features grilled chicken, rice, beans, sour cream, guacamole, lettuce. Double bonus it is topped with cheese sauce and gravy sauce. Yum!
The restaurants listed above are just a handful of spots that serve burritos, obviously there are a lot more in Genesee County, Lapeer County and points beyond. I do plan on celebrating 'National Burrito Day' tomorrow, and would like to try a burrito I have never had before. Now it is your turn to tell me where to go.
Happy almost 'National Burrito Day'.
