Kids movies are supposed to help kids escape the mundane reality that are the limitations of everyday life. Helping your child imagine they have superpowers or that they're on some magical quest or adventure -- these are the desired effects of the films you pay upwards of ten bucks for them to see. However, that was not the case for these two young boys whose parents took them to see 'The Odd Life of Timothy Green.'

SPOILER ALERT: If you plan to see this movie, stop reading this article and turn back now without watching this video -- these kids are gonna reveal some of the movie's plot points.

From the first time I saw the trailer for this corny-looking "feel good" pic, I guessed that the film would end with Timothy Green dead and his mother miraculously pregnant. I have no idea whether or not the second part is true, but these miserable kids confirmed the first part of that guess. Hollywood is basically out of ideas, it's not hard to see these things coming anymore...unless you're a kid.

Kids don't expect these things in their movies, unlike myself, who has been watching the same crappy movie released year after year with a different title. Kids movies should make you feel good, not introduce you to the harshness of mortality. Thumbs up to these kids' parents though! You already traumatized your children, you might as well get it on YouTube for the rest of us to enjoy.

The best part of this video is when the mother asks her son if people should see this movie. His response -- "If they do, they'll tear their eyes out!" Put that quote in the trailer, Hollywood!
