Vaccine Clinic Coming to Troy Next Week, Open to All Michiganders 16+

If you're having a bit of trouble getting a call back to make an appointment to get your COVID-19 vaccine shot, don't stress, there are other options for you. This option would mean you would have to drive down to Troy but to be able to get your shot, it would be worth it.

A Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine clinic is happening next week in Troy on April 22, and it’s open to anyone 16 years and older. The event will be for those in need of a first dose only. The second dose for the clinic will be held on May 13.

According to WDIV, the Pfizer clinic is on April 22 at the Troy Community Center. It’s open to all Michigan residents 16 and up. It’s from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Oakland County requires a parent or legal guardian to accompany minors to their appointments).

They don't allow walk-ins for this event, you must make an appointment. To make that appointment, you can call Call 313-400-3375 or make an appointment on their website.

The Troy Community Center is located at 3179 Livernois Rd in Troy.

I got my first Pfizer shot yesterday through the Gensess County Health Department. It was a piece of cake, I was in and out of that place in less than 30 minutes. I'm not dealing with any side effects (yet) aside from a sore arm. I hear I more than likely will have more side effects on my second dose but hopefully, that's not the case. Hell, Maggie Meadows had her shot (J&J) on Monday and didn't even have a sore arm. Apparently, it affects everyone differently.
