The Vice President of the United States, Mike Pence, will be making a few stops in Michigan on Thursday.

On Thursday, the Vice President will be making visits to several different businesses in Michigan. The trip will include lunch at Engine House in Mt. Clemens, which is owned by Detroit firefighter Captain Greg Sisoy and retired Detroit firefighter John Gusumano.

After his stop at Engine House, Vice President Pence will take a tour of Chardam Gear Company in Sterling Heights. For those that don't know, Chardam Gear Company make parts for commercial, military, and space aircraft. Their parts can be found in C-130's, F-18's, and other military aircrafts. Commercially, Chardam makes parts for Boeing, Airbus, Embraer, Bell Helicopter, and more.

Finally, VP Pence will deliver remarks at Casadei Structural Steel, Inc. in Sterling Heights. Casadei Structural Steel is one of the biggest fabricators in the state of Michigan and was founded in 2001. They provide steel and iron fabrication and erection, new construction and build projects, mobile welding, steel related property maintenance and more.

Once finished with these stops on Thursday, Pence will return to Washington, D.C.

I hope this is the first stop of many for all of our political leaders on the campaign trail, on both sides of the aisle. Today's climate in the United States is a very serious thing. I really don't care who or what you believe in as long as you do your homework, ask questions, seek answers, and vote. Not only is it our honor to do that, but it is also our responsibility.
