Pearl Jam frontman and Cubbies fan Eddie Vedder dropped by Wrigley Field last Thursday (6/30) to once again sing 'Take Me Out to the Ball Game'. After joining former Chicago Cub Jose Cardenal for the 7th inning stretch sing-along, Vedder crashed a local bar for open mic night.

Eddie Vedder is touring in support of his solo album 'Ukulele Songs' and played both Tuesday and Wednesday at The Chicago Theatre. Vedder took the next day off and was in attendance to watch the Chicago Cubs take on the San Francisco Giants.

Vedder has been a long-time Cubs' fan; he's been at Wrigley Field several times to sing during the seventh inning stretch, and even recorded a song for the team in 2008 called 'All the Way'. He once again returned to Wrigley and lent his vocals to former Cub Jose Cardenal on 'Take Me Out to the Ball Game'. After the game, Vedder dropped by the Wrigleyville bar Murphy's Bleachers to perform 'All the Way' and Neil Young's 'Rockin' in the Free World'. Looks like it was a good week to be in Chi-town for Eddie Vedder fans.
